Horrible place. Dropped my mother off and told Christine everything about her. She wouldn't make eye contact with me and they won't even inform me of her status and what will happen with her. Was told I'd receive a call after about 3 hours and never did. Had to call and get a code about 8 hours later and still nothing. They will likely release my mother to the streets very soon. Edit: Wanted to update my review. This place turned out to be not so bad. Like anywhere they could improve their communication but in the end they helped my mother. Thank you.

This place does NOT care about your wellbeing. It is often a situation for those who have nowhere else to go or do not know anything better is out there for them. One of my loved ones was recently confined here and on her first day, I had called to receive the patient ID necessary to speak to her and was told they "needed to find her" despite the fact that she had been admitted 3 hours prior. When I finally got an update, I learned right then is when they began her intake paperwork and that she had been sitting with no idea of what was going on for three whole hours. There is no time perception there and she would have to ask me what hour it was because they have no clocks aside from one hidden behind the desks. I asked her about the bedbugs I had seen mentioned, she said the beds were like cardboard so there was no longer a chance for them. They forgot to FEED HER her entire first day and going into her second one until lunch. What sort of facility is this? And they charge nearly $5000 for 5 days? Outrageous. She was isolated for the first two days from everyone else and then the group activities that are supposed to help are completely irregulated and never done at the right times. As long as she smiled and said she was alright, the doctors did not bother to look into it. Nothing there helped and when I got her back, she was worse than when she went in. The staff were also incredibly rude to me until they realized I was not here to be admitted and I was just dropping something off to her. Overall, horrible, disgusting place that does not care about your health.

I have no words for how genuinely horrific this facility is. I have gone through more than my fair share of horrible experiences, ranging from seeing my mother stop breathing to nearly being kicked out of my home, and this was still one of the most traumatic experiences I've ever gone through. I was sent there involuntarily for a suicide attempt, and other than a few kind and sincere nurses, I can only begin to scratch the surface of how terrible this environment is. Along with the disgusting food, unhygienic living space and rude staff members, it was so painfully obvious that half of the nurses there didn't genuinely care. I even remember several nights where, after being made to keep our doors open for their routine check ins, the female nurses would then talk and laugh amongst each other with not a care in the world. That being said, this doesn't apply to every nurse that I encountered during my time there, but when I had brought the issue up gently to another worker, I was then told "Ah, noisy neighbors. Well what can you do." I cannot speak for everyone's experience, but I was better off never have being sent there. I left with an even worse mindset than what I had entered with. I also missed a week of work and had to convince the front desk persons to please allow me to use my phone to pay my rent before having it taken away. I wasn't even allowed to explain to my boss that I would not be at work for an extended amount of time (because they couldn't tell me how long I would be there exactly, as it is up to the doctors), and instead I was told that I would be given a paper to give to my place of employment that stated that I could not be fired due to the absence. I have so much more to say as well, but if i explained everything, i would be writing pages worth, therefore I'll leave it at this. If you genuinely need help and are looking for somewhere to go, this facility should never even be considered, despite how desperate you may feel. You will not leave better than how you came in.
