They consistently do great work. We have taken several of our rugs to Whitehall Carpet Cleaners and they come back looking brand new every time. Highly recommended!

Are you able to text over some photos so we can see what we are working with? If we need to patch the carpet, you must have some extra carpet , either a remnant or a closet with the exact same carpet we can work with. Please send photos to 803-216-1806.
Avoid cleaning chemicals if you can. Instead, mix a spray bottle with a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar, spray it on your tile, and let sit for 5-10 minutes. Wipe away with a soft, damp cloth. Use a soft toothbrush to clean grout in the tile lines.
Hardwood floors can stand up to light water, but they don’t do well when saturated repeatedly. When you are mopping your hardwood floors, make sure to wring your mop head out completely, so that it is damp but not fully wet. You don’t want it to splash water on your hardwood.
As a rule of thumb, the following schedule works well: Sweep or dust daily. Mop 1 -2 times a week depending on foot traffic. Use chemicals made specifically for hardwood. Have professional cleaners come in and clean hardwood floors at least once every year, though twice a year will give you optimal results.
If you just have light spot cleaning or maintenance in mind, then a simple mixture of water and vinegar (with optional essential oils) can help treat problem areas.
Some stores rent or sell DIY upholstery cleaning machines. While these machines can get some dirt out of upholstery, they will often require cleaning chemicals as well. If you aren’t careful, you could stain the fabric or stress the fibers and damage the furniture. For more professional, deep cleaning, it is best to have a professional come in with their own equipment. They will be able to tell you what steps are needed to protect your furniture.
Depending on the kind of wear and tear a specific piece of furniture endures, we would suggest at least once a year. For furniture like couches or chairs that see a lot of action, every 6 months works. Remember that dirt and use can degrade a couch over time, so cleaning will also increase the longevity of the furniture and save you money in the long run.
If you want to start basic cleaning routines between scheduled deep cleanings, then simply vacuum, remove stains quickly (especially pet stains), and spray a non-harmful deodorizer. We have more helpful carpet cleaning tips right here.
We recommend every 6 months. Your best time to clean is when shifting from hot to cold seasons—so right before fall and right before spring.
It usually takes carpets 4-6 hours to dry completely, but you can speed up this process by turning on the AC or the ceiling fan. The treatments also affect how long it takes: if you’ve requested additional pet treatments or other cleaning solutions, it may take more time for them to settle into the carpet. Our drying process already speeds up the time needed for your carpets to dry, and our low-moisture encapsulation cleaning uses as little water as possible in the wet cleaning stage. We also take into account ambient humidity in drying your carpets, so we do the entire process in record time.
It's a good idea to do a quick vacuuming if you need it. Move any small items off of the floor in the areas that we will be working to assure we can reach as much of your carpet as possible. Make a note of any areas of concern to go over with our technician when we arrive. Definitely! But we recommend that you wait for it to dry out completely. Carpets can be very slippery when wet – and sometimes treatments need time to settle fully. We’ll usually give you the estimate when we’re done with the entire process, and you can always ask us about the right time to put your feet back on the carpet.
