Our program provides healthcare to rural indigenous populations living in remote jungle environments. We need a lot of specialized gear and supplies and Matter has consistently delivered on hard-to-find items or otherwise prohibitively expensive medical equipment. In the NGO world, Matter stands out and is one of our most trusted and appreciated partners. When a little girl has a compound fracture of her leg in a village many miles from the nearest ANYTHING, having the right gear onsite is critical and can mean the difference between appropriate emergency care and follow up leading to total recovery, or dying of sepsis within a week. We've seen both. Matter helps us halt the bad outcomes in their tracks, and better still with the child nutrition supplementation they send us, we can prevent those bad outcomes from ever trying to happen at all. Thanks Matter!! We look very forward to continuing to work with you to bring care to those who still live and often suffer without it. --Dr. Ben, President of Floating Doctors medical team

A wonderful organization pursuing an important mission!

I have volunteered here at Matter for over five years and have enjoyed it. I volunteer my technical skills, I do not work directly in their core mission. I make it so they can effectively communicate and operate business on a day to day basis. I have also done some standard volunteering here and there. I see how their impact effects people daily. They are a group of people that work hard and try to make a difference locally and around the world.

The folks at Matter take ownership of what they do, and it shows in the quality of their work. They aren't just employees putting in an 8-hour day; they are enthusiastically accomplishing a mission because their work lifts the people they serve to a higher plane. In other words, their results truly do matter.
