not even a Greenville SC web design agency. This is a Charlotte business. I paid them for SEO. They flooded my website with spam back links that eventually got my site demoted. Had to pay thousands to get the bad backlinks demoted and too this day my website is suffering. Even their own website is a $30 themeforest theme. Copy and paste. They dont even know how to build websites them selves. Simply middle men. Forged Web Design is Charlotte SEO and they are running a scam shop. Buy seo services at your own risk. Now they deny i wasnt a client. I hope they do get Google involved. Look up their address at Forged Web Design. Its at open works Greenville. A open office space. They are paying for a shared greenville sc address to rank locally even tho they dont have a physical office in SC. Why? To manipulate local google results. Against GMB terms of service. Their own website is ranking high in greenville from out of business web design domains they bought and pointed to their new fake forged web design business. Black hat SEO tactics that will get a site demoted and banned. Just like what happened to mine. Thanks to Charlotte SEO. Stay away. This scam shop that will cost your business in the long run with black hat SEO practices. Stay away. Say hello to Google for me Forged.

Our entire web design team knows marketing and SEO. Therefore, every website that will build not only looks great but acts as a sales agent for your business 24/7. Your website needs to be ranked in the search engines so that it can be found by new potential clients and the copy on the site needs to speak to the people that reach it.
We use the Wordpress content management system (CMS) to build all of our websites on. This allows for customers to login and add pages and posts at will. It also allows for maximum coding flexibility down the road for when you are ready to grow your site and expand your market share into other cities or service areas.
Yes we code all websites to look great on every device. If you are on an iPhone, you will site that fits your screen with optimized images and resized text to make it look great. Same thing on tablet. Every site we develop will reshape itself to the screen on which it’s being viewed.
Responsive Web Design is where you code the website to change the styling and shape of the page with the screen size of the device you are viewing it on. In other words, if you are viewing the website on a mobile device, the text will get a hair smaller and the dimensions of the site will be contained to the width of the iPhone. Simply, put your website will always look great on any device for any visitor.
No but it helps to accelerate the timeline in the building of the website if we have everything up front. Another option is you can develop the content while we are building the website if you would like.
If you need help updating your website, installing plugins, adding pages, or coding some kind of advanced custom functionality, Forge Web Design is here for you.
We host all of our websites on our enterprise server with WPEngine. They are the fastest most reliable Wordpress hosting platform around. Your site will never get hacked, go down, or get a virus because of the awesome customer support team they have.
You are the expert in your field. Therefore, you will know all the buzzwords associated with your niche. For new websites with no existing content, we usually like for the business owner to write the content. If its a website redesign, then we can use the existing content on your website. We do have the option of our copywriters putting together the web content for you but keep in mind, it will be a starting point since you are the expert in your field.
You can have as much or as little input as you would like for the website development process. You can be hands on or hands off.
You pay a downpayment up front to get started on your website design or web development project. Then the final payments are using structured in two following payments typically 30 days apart.
Yes your website will be mobile-friendly and look great on all mobile devices. We use a coding technique called responsive design. Where you used to have to build a separate mobile page for every page on your site, your website can now be coded to resize itself to fit any screen.
We can maintain it or you can maintain it. Wordpress is such a user friendly web platform that you can maintain it yourself with just a few minutes of time. But if it makes you feel better having an expert web design and development team standing behind you to make sure nothing ever goes wrong, then yes we will be glad to help :)
While we are located right here in Greenville, SC, we work with many local and national companies. A website can be designed and built remotely and then you can coordinate with our team and screen share with our designers to go over the initial mockups and overall design of the site.
The short answer is yes. Wordpress is the most flexible and user friendly platform to build a website on. The main reason we love Wordpress is that Google loves the way that Wordpress is structured. Google will rank your site higher in the search engines because it’s structured the way Google likes and it’s not a duplicate structure like Godaddy page builder, Squarespace, Weebly, web.com and others.
Typically, we say it takes 30-45 days to build a website. That can shift depending on the requirements of the project and how complex the site is but a typical build is about 30-45 days.
The cost of a website varies depending on how many features and pages it has. An eCommerce website cost more than a simple 5 page brochure site. The cost is really dependent upon how many hours will be put into building the overall site.
We have a 3 step formula that is working really well for all customers right now. 1) New traffic to the website through highly targeted SEO and PPC 2) Conversion rate optimization on the site so that existing traffic and new traffic convert at a higher rate 3) Use remarketing banners to get potential customers, who left your site, back to the site for another chance to sell them again. We have successfully used this formula to 5X businesses over 10 months on average. See our case studies for more information on that.
We use the Wordpress platform so that all our customers can easily edit their own website without paying for website changes if they prefer that.
