I have to edit my previous review. Originally I had been a member at Stock and Barrel since before the Eagan location was even opened (with a short lapse in the middle). I will not be continuing my membership. Overall, the range itself is great, and the vast majority of the employees are good. That said, the last handful of times I've been there I've felt like more of nuisance than a paying member. I've stood at the counter as employees were sitting 5'-10' feet away staring at me but making no effort to engage in conversation or ask what I needed. As for the membership, I believe it needs some work. In my opinion, the price is not justified. One example of this is the fact that no membership tier except for Caliber includes the ability to bring a guest, not including the family membership. Shooting can be a social thing and that's made difficult when I have to pay an additional fee every time I want to bring a friend along.

Good indoor shooting range, but prices are outrageous for a membership. Would be nice if they offered winter only memberships, or just had reasonably priced memberships (if you're not willing to publish them on your site, you're overpriced). Motorized target holders allow you to set the distance between 0 and 25 yards. Good for standing rifle or pistol practice. It's too bad they don't have any limits on minimum barrel length for rifle calibers, it's absolutely awful to be indoors next to someone with a 8" .308 AR. You can rent pistols and other firearms as well. They have firearms for sale and can help with NFA items. Edit: they finally posted membership fees on their website, and the minimum is a $300 initiation and $400/year. My other range is $150/year. Still wish these guys had reasonable prices or offered winter only deals.

Unfortunately I will not be renewing my membership. S&B is getting so popular that they are starting to be more strict with their rules. Over the years I've seen it get worse and worse, I can see the slope they're headed and once they reach enough members, they will eventually restrict any outside ammunition and any outside targets and wring their members out like a sponge. The future is bleak.

Normal initiation is $299 but up to the first of the year it is reduced to $199 for the holidays. Monthly dues are $35.00 for a single membership. Couples and family memberships are also available.
We sell guns, ammunition, and accessories.
We are open to the public! We look forward to seeing you.
There is only one initiation fee for a couple, $299. The rate per month is $49.95 for a couple. That covers everything. There are no hidden gotcha' fees.
Initiation $299.99 than believe it's around $35 - if you go more than twice month it pays for itself.
