We went into the restaurant expecting to have a “home cooked meal”. The country style steak tasted like an awful TV dinner. The table cloth was sticky and dirty. I really wanted to love the place since it has a nice Christian atmosphere. I had to leave this review because we paid $14.99 for a TV dinner, and I’m praying they will start giving what they advertise.

It is a lovely home style restaurant by the river. However I suggest you don't sit on the patio because the carpenter bees are at full speed burrowing and the wood shavings tend to fall into your food. The food was okay, nothing that I was impressed with. The gentleman did handle the bee situation by not allowing me to pay for the food that we did consume, which shows he cares about your experience while there. Overall, I rate 3 stars for the care that was shown to us by the gentleman. But, if your looking for food quality I would say a 2 star 🌠🌠 wish I could of given more. We drove to this location specifically for this restaurant and it just wasn't what I expected. 😔

OMGoodness! If you are ever in Chimney Rock Village looking for somewhere great to eat, look no further. We went to another local establishment and left because it just wasn't our kind of food but I am glad we did because Ginny's exceeded all expectations. Check out this pic of my grilled cheese, this is what you call a fabulous grilled cheese!

There was a few parking in front of the restaurant. No wait, we were seated right away. The owner was nice. Food came out fast. My two years old loves the onion rings. A little pricey but good portion. The food was good. The whole family love it. They also sells other local stuffs such as shirts, books, apples butter, honey and many more stuffs. The women bathroom have a awkward layout. They have one stall and right outside the stall was another toilet next to the sink. The second toilet was out in the open. As long as you locked the door, it should be okay.
