The Rocky Broad Riverwalk runs parallel to Main Street in Chimney Rock Village, providing easy access to restaurants, and other attractions. It offers a peaceful walking trail with plenty of boulders and rock outcroppings. Generally, it is not a high traffic area. Entrances are between buildings and could go unnoticed unless your are looking for access to the river. May 14 pics added

It’s a short walk and nice to get a touch of the water and usually accessible from all the stores alongside. Yet the some parts of trail itself is a bit nasty.

We had so much fun wading in the water here at Chimney Rock! Our two year old daughter loved it. Just make sure to bring an extra change of clothes (just in case). It is so convenient that the restaurants and shops are right by the river as well. We will be back soon!

Nice little diversion to spend a few minutes checking out the river and the shops while you're in town. There are several restaurants and souvenir shops that you can pop in and out of for a bite or to do some shopping. Or, just take the walk and enjoy the views. It's a good spot to go to on your way into or out of the park.
