Horrible place and rude people.

I've been to a few of these and we had a good experience here. I would definitely invest in the larger buckets because a three year old pulling out a giant amethyst geode and holding in the air shouting "I FOUND THE CRYSTAL" thinking it's worth like a million dollars and now their greatest possession is worth every bit of $95. My only room for improvement is this place doesn't go through the stones you found to tell you what you got, which ones are precious stones and of those which ones can be cut. I have a ruby ring, two quartz earrings and an amethyst necklace from another gem mine where they go through and help you see which ones can be cut into jewelry. I ended up investing another $1000 on those stones simply because my little one found them and of course mommy had to turn them into pieces I could wear. This place could definitely do that. I found 6 large hexagonal rubies that I know could be cut in our bucket and that's just what I recognize. Are the stones jewelry store grade as far as clarity/homogeneity/etc...no not all but who cares they still make beautiful pieces.

I just added 2 pics that include most of the buckets and prices. Lowest = kiddie bucket, $9, regular = $16, all the way up to the super mega bucket $155... and possibly larger. Buckets may also vary in composition (ex: emerald/ruby, fossil buckets)
It’s not self dig, they have buckets pre-made and ready to go. They provide shovels and sifters. Many options on sizes for all sizes of groups.
Masks are required and there's usually enough space to social distance.
