The store was ok but the lady who checked us out was so nice and caring. She deserves all the stars. Sadly I didn’t get her name but it was nice how friendly and sweet she was.

Horrible place to work! Horrible place to shop! Literally the tall bald head manager have a mental problem and don't know how to treat people with respect. He needs to be fired. Always walk around with an attitude and talk to people like he's crazy.

Went in the store with my wife on the AM of 2/11/22. Went to ask the manager of the store a question about candy. The male, bald groomed, manager had the NASTIEST attitude. He never said “can I help you- a normal response any adult would say”. Immediately his body language was as if I was irritating him needing assistance. He just stared and looked at me. Becoming angry, I just still asked my question. My question was easy, a two year could answer. “How much is this candy in my hand? When I asked, he response was only “what”? And he kept on blowing up balloons. Rude as he possibly could be, I understand we have on masks- but just ask me to repeat myself like any other human being with common sense would say. His later reply “We’ll what is the price?” “So it’s half of that!” Shocked of the treatment, I became furious. I said, “I didn’t like the way you said that”. Looking surprised when I said it-I walked off. Just wanting to leave because my anger was started to brew, my wife said to bring it back to the stores attention. I couldn’t without being angry. So she did, he apologized like he had no idea of his behavior. That really angered me, but I was already raging and using expletives. I told him it’s your whole demeanor as a manager as I left. I feel sorry for the Merrillville IN staff and customers in there. If he continues to manage the store. Total abuse of managerial power and needs to be fired or retrained in customer interaction. .

The lady was nice but they really didn’t have anything . The entire store was empty, tons of shelves with nothing on them. I also though most of the merchandise that they did have was way over priced . Simple balloons were 5.99 a bag. They didn’t not even have any vinyl tablecloths.
