Love Pack’s Tavern. This place was packed on a Monday night and they have a ton of seats. They had an amazing menu and I couldn’t decide what I wanted so we shared wings, mac & cheese and nachos. Everything was absolutely delicious. They also have a really great drink and beer list. The service was fantastic too.

Brought a pup and sat in the back patio on a gorgeous summer day. Colby was our waiter and was a delight. Ordered the nachos with steak and the Thai salad with unseasoned chicken (for the dog) Both great, the steak bits were good. Doggo seemed happy with his chicken. We burned through two cans of summer bubbles and a bottle of bubbles. Colby kept our water cups full and checked in on us frequently. It was so great to sit out by the fountain and listen to the kids shriek their way through the water while I watched a guy on a unicycle juggle. I can see what the fuss is about, it's a fun vibe, the food is solid, and the people watching is prime. Excited to go back and see what it's like inside.

A staple in the heart of downtown Asheville and a truly enjoyable experience every time I return. The food was easily the best we've had during our visit to town and came out extremely quickly. I highly recommend the brisket Mac & cheese. Drinks were phenomenal and the atmosphere was amazing. We followed our stop at Packs with stroll through downtown still talking about how delicious our food was.

Had an awesome waitress.. wish I remembered her name.. However, all of the employees we interacted with were awesome. Service was great especially for us having a large party. Everything we ordered was delicious and the portions were right on. What was really impressive was that one meal was ordered to be split and it was served that way. We got two regular plates with the meal already divided.. Nice touch. Prices definitely reasonable for the quality of the food and level of service. Covered patio dining available which allows Pack's to be pet friendly

They don’t take your temperature but ask screening questions, enforce masks and have a lot of space between tables. If you read the reviews you will see all good comments about their COVID safe protocols.
Darkness and the souls of people who complain about downtown Asheville's culture.
Very casual incredible food and excellent service in a VERY laid back atmosphere. I would recommend this location and the clientele it attracts.
Jacob is correct but there is a surface lot on Marjorie street that is open to the public and free on nights and weekends. It’s adjacent to Pack’s.
There is parking off of biltmore Avenue and off Marjorie street
We have a “gluten friendly” menu that suggest items and modifications for this with gluten sensitivity. I suggest you let your server know your restrictions so they can chat with the kitchen team about ingredients! Pack’s is a large, busy restaurant so it is hard to ensure zero cross contamination.
Corned Beef and Cabbage (for as long as it lasts!) for $14.99 and Guinness Draft for $4.00. 🍀
