Went here as we were walking around the arcade. I was honestly surprised that you can make deviled eggs that good, and that was just the appetizer. I also had a incredible BLT, amazing! My wife was even more surprised on how good the burger was. As to the service... Hard to beat. Friendly, helpful, funny... I can't say enough good. A must go! Try the eggs!

Very happy with this experience. I loved the atmosphere. It was upscale and romantic. The Deviled Eggs were yummy. There was some sort of sweet pepper jelly on the plate with them that was so good. I got a BLT and my husband got the Pork Chop, we were both pleased. Service was awesome!! Yummy desserts and good coffee.

Great thin crust pizza. Good fries and BLT. The shrimp Mac and cheese was wonderful.

I really like Carmel's. They have a pretty varied menu with something for everyone. We've been coming every time we visit Asheville for about 15 years. My kids grew up eating their pizza and waffle fries and have moved on to trying more adventurous items on their menu. It's a great place for family dining. We also enjoy the street vendors right outside, and always try to support them. Carmel's is right in the heart of downtown and it's an easy place to have a bite while you're shopping nearby. There is a parking garage directly across the street. It's gotten a bit pricey though, but I understand that things gave gotten more expensive and restaurants have had a tough time. Glad you all were able to reopen. LOVE the new decor!
