Thought a historical hotel would be interesting. Tiny room withe queen bed. No coffee in room. Coffee service in the morning was supposed to have muffins, oatmeal and fruit. Pop tarts, bagged oatmeal and oranges. Move on.

In town for one night, business trip, booked the room, quick and easy. Checking was flawless and was very happy with my queen bed and room. I had one concern and when I mentioned to the manager, was thanked several times for doing so. This is a boutique hotel that is modern and retains the character of years past. My room was smaller than a standard room such as at a Hampton Inn; that is part of the character. Great location, good parking. Coffee and pastries served in the morning; very nice. The restaurant attached to the hotel is top shelf; service, food prep, variety drinks, 100% recommend. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to everyone.

I am giving 5 stars but I would give 10s if I could. I had booked a room at a different hotel that was less than desireable...straight trash if Im being honest. I needed a room last minute and was desperate. I called thinking I wouldnt get a room...I did. I would have been fine with one and look elsewhere the next day, but I not only got one...but two nights. They were able to work me in. The staff was just amazing and so pleasant. Melinda is absolutely the best and so kind and helpful. This trip was a necessary delicate family matter so anxiety was already high and with the scary mess with the other hotel they actually helped to make a difficult trip better. Dinner and drinks on the upstairs patio...couldnt have been more relaxing and perfect. I absolutely love this place. I highly recommend this hotel...5 stars! My sincerest thanks! ❤
