This was my first time eating here. The food was excellent and the service was curtious and prompt. I ordered the Carolina BBQ and pinto beans and cornbread. The beans were cooked well and seasoned great. The cornbread was fluffy and not greasy which was nice. The barbeque was delicious and tender. The food was just overall fantastic. The place was quite busy when I arrived about 6pm but I didn't have to wait for a seat and the server came right out and did arrived quickly. It was a pleasant experience and I'd definitely eat here again.

I had the 8 oz hamburger steak with mushrooms and gravy, green beans deviled eggs with roll it was awesome. Good selection of desserts to. Very friendly people.

They have a great protocol. Take out is picked up by going to a window. If you have concerns, I would just get it to go.

It is a few miles down from the trail access at Creekview in Galax, so it might not be the most convenient stop during an outing on the New River Trail.
