Excellent campground. However the bathrooms need to be more clean...spider webs and dust on the top ..Joe and Jaret were excellent...will definitely come back again.

the skatepark is not kept up with. i have been coming here since 2017 and some of the holes have been here since then and its only gotten worse. i have never seen one thing repaired except maybe a safety rail. ive seen these holes and craters cause so many bad falls even when trying to avoid them. i cant believe they let children come here for surf and skate in the summer??? i pay $110 for a parking pass for a couple months and i havent seen any improvement but no worries they got a bunch of new palm trees!!!!

$10 parking fee if you live in Nassau County, $37 for non-residents. Nothing additional for getting on the beach.
Visitors can also swim in the ocean daily from 9am to 8pm. Lifeguards on duty 10am-6pm.
Ohh
Nickerson does have camping grounds.
i
It’s a County Park. Leisure pass required for reduced fee 14.00. Hempstead beaches are 50 for non res. Worst case go to Jones. State park.
It normally closes at 10 pm but because of the 4th of July fireworks it is usually open well after that. If you are coming in tomorrow, be prepared to leave late and deal with a lot of traffic heading out.
Contact the main Office. I do not have the number but you can Google Nickerson beach and it will come up
In 2017 it was 4k a summer. Not sure now. John is right. Check them.
On their website .
Yes
No, only in the dog run
To use the pool you need to go into the office a purchase a wrist band for the day.
Weekdays go before 9 and after 5 for free entry. Otherwise it's $37.00 for non Nassau County residents. Weekends it's before 9am and after 6pm
There are no dogs allowed at Nickerson cabanas as far as I know, regardless of size.
You have to get a leisure pass. Once you get that, parking you get a discount on. 35$ no leisure pass or 12$ with leisure pass.
Yes. You have to go there and put your name in for a lottery drawing
End of February but there is a waiting list
It's a beach not a hotel.
