Very short hike ( 0.7 miles ) and 350 ft gain. Google may not get to the entry point.. just follow the way and you will reach trail head in another 3 miles. Great spot for both sunset and sunrise ( can sleep at trail head.) Be wary that it can windy.

Very beautiful! Needs more signs to know you are going the right way. It takes a good while to get to the top parking and start of the hike. The road is a bit scary in some parts very narrow and loose rocks every Where. Walking trail gets very thin in some parts. I wouldn't take small children. But we found a few good agates.

As one of my favorite lookouts, Red Top Lookout delivers a fantastic panoramic view of the Blewett Pass area. A very short, but steep trail off FR 9702 leads up to the lookout. Even though the elevation is only 5361 feet, it looks and feels more alpine. The reddish rock mass it sits on abruptly juts up out of the forest. The view northwest out to the Wenatchee Mtns and Stuart Range catches your attention at once. Look all the way around for new views of Table Mtn, the Cle Elum Valley, Teanaway River area, and distant Cascades.

Wonderful location!! Only half mile walk from parking to the lookout. What a reward for those on a clear day. 360 degree view. Wear bug spray the mosquitos are hungry. Hopefully a little wind will blow them to Spokane.

There are a few places you could camp on the way up or near the end of the road. None of these however are official campsites.
