My experience with this office was not good at all! WHY?? here goes....first off i read reviews after i made the second appointment. that is not par for the course for me, but i'm glad i did bc it all made sense why my first visit was a disaster. i went in to see about getting a tooth pulled THAT day. no go! i made the mistake of saying i wanted to get more extensive work done at a later time. therefore, i was sent home not having any relief for the 1 bad tooth bc obviously it would have not been as profitable as the bigger job to be done if i decided to come back. i decided to give them 1 more try, mind you, this was after getting talked down to by the female in the office behind the receptionist. In a statement, Miss Miserable needs meds to calm her "happy" behind down. She had a serious attitude both at my visit and when i had to call and make the appointment. i called back and cancelled. I am not comfortable with that kind of treatment when i made sure to be respectful to her. her representation, as being of one of the first you encounter in the office, leaves a negative impression. Lastly, the 2 stars are for the younger lady in the front and for the dental assistant. You've been WARNED!!!

This is the worst dentist I have ever been to. It seemed as if they we're discriminating their quality of care based on how good your dental hygiene is. They came highly recommended from my brother, but when my mother and I both went in for our consultation about 2 weeks ago, there was no consulting. He rattled off a list of things to be done for my mom and told me I had to get 2 cavities filled, which I expected because an old one had fallen out. Without so much as another word they sent us on our way with another appointment. Today we went in with no idea what was happening. A cleaning? A filling? An extraction? As soon as I sat down the dental assistant started telling me what they were going to do, things I wasn't even aware of. As I was discussing it with her, the dentist came in and completely dismissed my concerns, saying they were 'running behind' so he wouldn't be working on my main problem and he had me lay down so he could numb me and then left. When my mother asked to come back with me, seeing as I'm a minor and I was scared; they said no, stating Covid concerns as the reason she couldn't see me. This was absolutely disgraceful seeing as we were the only patients who were actually following the Covid protocol in the office. I was confused and in tears when they came back and started working on my front teeth. After about 15 minutes of filing my teeth for no apparent reason he was done and I left with my mother who refused to be seen. I would never recommend anyone else to this dentist, who only provided me with a traumatic and unprofessional experience. If I could rate this Center 0 stars I would.

I emailed Scranton Dental both via their website and direct email on August 7th. I explained that I was a fully vaccinated adult new in town and seeking a new dentist. I asked to schedule a cleaning and have a doctor look at a specific tooth experiencing pain. After several days of no response, I called. A secretary informed me: "We do not schedule appointments over the phone if it's an emergency or not, so we will put your name on a list and call you." I went elsewhere for treatment; however, seven weeks later, Scranton Dental failed to follow up. Clearly, they must have a lengthy list of prospective patients. Absolutely terrible.

They are the best one shot and your numb and the needle doesn’t even hurt going in like other dentists!

My fiance is in a lot of pain. He doesn't have insurance yet.. His job hasn't enrolled him in their plan yet. Would he still be able to receive treatment for a dental emergency?
