Cave Creek Tumbleweed Hotel

This was our first time staying at tumbleweed The room was 60 style and clean. Couple things I noticed the sheet did not fit the mattress and plywood underneath the box foundation our neighbors was locked out of their room and came into ours because it was cold until we could get someone to come and help them get in which took some time no one works at the desk after hours.

Stayed at the Tumbleweed on the 9th of May, room seemed pretty clean at first glance...it wasn't. Was using the super slow internet when I noticed a bug crawling on the sheets....yes it was a bed bug. It was late so we stripped the bed and killed a couple more, sleep with just a sheet and one eye opened. By morning we couldn't wait to get out of this dump. Yes we had bites and killed about a dozen in total. Staff acted surprised, said that's too bad, mentioned a refund (didn't happen) but that won't fix the bed bug issue. Town is nice (Cave Creek) and worth a visit, would not recommend this over priced establishment.

This motel is a hidden gem. I live in Cave Creek, but we wanted to spend a night out. The man at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful. The room was AMAZING and cozy. VERY clean. Decor was great, bed was comfortable. Will be back and highly recommend.

Very friendly family ran and owned place to stay in Cave Creek. Rooms are adequate and clean. My husband and I visited often with the owner and enjoyed our stay very much. The owners we very attentive to making sure we had anything we may need while we were staying. The pool area is nice to hang out at. The beds were comfortable. They have some very beautiful things in their store so make sure you check that out. I'm fairly certain we would stay here again if we vacation in Cave Creek in the future. 😎
