This RV park is by far the nicest I've discovered since I started living full time in my 5th wheel 3 years ago. Off the beaten path for peaceful enjoyment by its residents, with a country setting among its towering oaks and grassy meadows. Spaces provided are oversized and allow for each occupant the ability to personalize the use and privacy enjoyed within the boundaries of their space. The owners who are all family members contributing to its successful operation. Each consistant with the execution of their duties related to their jobs and the equal enforcement of policies and rules required by all park residents. A feeling of community ownership is displayed by its residents who openly protect its survival if its threatened by any new arrival or unknowing outsider stumbling across this little piece of paradise. Prior to me moving here I had experienced a ongoing and consistant pattern of the previous 13 RV parks I had stayed in ranging from being one I would never stay in or recommend to anyone, to those I could recommend without reservation. This RV and Mobile Home Park is one that falls into the later category. Jerry is the owner for over 50 years I think. Salt of the earth good old boy is how I would classify his demeanor. Very straight forward and reasonable so far and the one I prefer to deal with. There are a few other family members who contribute to the overall operation, but depending on the day you can't count on any consistency in their attitude. I have had my share of problems in dealing with one of them who shouldn't be involved with any conflict resolution between residents. She has strong favorites in the park, some of which just like to be involved in as much drama as they can create with others in the park. To give an example of what I'm referring to, if someone makes a complaint towards another resident, this will be taken as a confirmed factual occurrence. There's no neutral position maintained with the other party having the opportunity to speak in their own defense. She will assume that what she's been told is absolutely true and either send the accused a nasty email or text threatening documentation in their file. In another situation she held true to her one sided approach in a dispute between my next door neighbor and myself surrounding the boundaries of each individual RV space. Jerry had to get involved due to her incorrect position being sided with my neighbor. Even after Jerry confirmed my understanding of the boundaries as the correct one, no apology or admission of complete wrongdoing on her part. So what I'm trying to convey is if you choose to stay here, ensure your only dealing with the actual owner Jerry to guarantee your receiving fair and impartial treatment. Otherwise the park is well maintained and the only drawback is the isolation and high summer temps. No walking to the market or a park to exercise the dog. Overall a 4 star park that's undergoing upgrades currently.

Terrific for our needs. Kandi and Rushie were great. Neighbors were welcoming and friendly. Spot felt private and convenient. Water had more chlorine than our liking, but free reverse osmosis water was provided so worked perfectly. Will stay here again when in area if it is available. Access to/from road a bit tricky, especially the first time, but still workable. Great location.

It used to! It was closed in the 80's and taken out in the early 90's. I only ever got to skateboard in that pool..
It is.
You need to pay the rent what ever it might be no special prices if you don't have money ,it's very reasonable thow
Long term not sure on 55+
No it is not. We are about a mile passed city limits.
The Mobile Home side is a Senior Mobile Home Park. So, no, children aren't allowed on that side. The RV side is not senior persons regulated. Kids live on that side.
Currently my space rent is $795 plus electric. As far as to there being any openings, you would need to talk with the owners. You would want to call Kandi 805- 550-7227
