This place is absolutely fantastic. It's almost hidden away in a corner but is a magnificent gem. A must visit if you're in the area. Heck, visit if you're not close too.

Very quickly seated at the bar. Got the Chaku with spicy curry ramen and Kaisen dinner sets with salmon teriyaki plus appetizer of shishito peppers. No pics because we inhaled it. Everything was super flavorful and fresh. Would absolutely come back. Bonus, there's a nicely stocked Japanese grocery store to the left of the restaurant down a flight of stairs.

I used to love Wagaya.. I live in the area so normally do take out but have eaten in a few times as well. Yesterday my take out experience was horrible. I asked for a refund because my roll felt a little light, but didn’t mind keeping the remainder of the order. They we’re almost closed so I figured they’d prefer that option over a remake. Clearly not because the manager begin to loudly express every action it took to process the refund. While the kitchen is looking at me and making smart remarks, she even one time looked over & agreed/acknowledged his smart remarks. When I spoke up about hearing him she played like he said nothing when I watched her acknowledge & basically give them the okay to make me feel uncomfortable. The manager, who rolled her eyes at me every time she spoke & Kitchen staff went out of there way, to make me feel bad all because I wanted a refund. I come here very often so that wasn’t needed AT ALL. Very unprofessional & the reason I’ll never come here again. This isn’t how your treat loyal customers. Do better!

Amazing food will be making a comeback to this place. 10/10 the numbers.

Distanced seating, employees wearing masks.
They have a smallish parking lot in back, and a lot of street parking in the area, but the street parking is restricted until 7pm.
They are not at full capacity. The staff is masked and seating is socially distanced.
Thanks for the inquiry. Wagaya shares patio tables with its sister restaurant Chirori located next door. Please make a reservation for patio tables. Hope to see you soon!
You have LOTS of options here because there's a lot of seafood
Yes it is great..I would recommend the devil's breath rolls. The regular rolls are also good
