We were in the area for hockey so stopped for a quick dinner. Food was ok. Probably would not go there again. But I saw a lot of people picking up their orders so I assume it is popular with local community.

Be advised...apparently you can't order Hibachi Fried Rice (a menu item) at the Hibachi grill ... You have to sit in the dining room ... So if you want that Hibachi / Benihana-like experience complete with saki squirts and loud clamoring of spatulas this is the place for you. Expect to pay $21 for the pleasure. Good food, but nothing outstanding. A once in a while place to go for adult groups.

I'm extremely disappointed in our experience here. It started off with our waitress being quite rude to us. We walked in and the only other table already had their food. When we sat we told our waitress 2 people in our party were ordering sushi rather than the habachi and she was not impressed with this and told us we might have to wait a while to get our food until another party arrived to sit with us. That was no problem. We told the waitress we were on separate checks and when we reminded her before we ordered the food she snapped Yes I know. After 2 much larger parties walked in they decided to start our meal without another group- this was their choice we were in no rush. The chef seemed annoyed also though it wasn't our fault another group that could fit at our table didn't walk in . He was extremely rushed then when he went around asking if we wanted saki got to the last person in our group (who is sober) she kept declining and he kept insisting. When she said she didn't drink he replied with "no saki no fun" then asked if she would do it with water. When she agreed he sprayed her clothes and all over her face clearly not aiming for her mouth at all. Those who ordered habachi never received their soup or salad and one person who ordered sushi never got the soup he ordered either. They then only brought one of the other persons food and not the other. When we asked for the other girls food they only brought 1 of the things she ordered and brought it prepackaged to go. When she said that she wanted to eat it there the waitress again was very annoyed and rude. At this point I asked to speak to the manager and our waitress ran up to the table and started profusely apologizing. Saying we didn't need to talk to him she'd fix it. When I said I'd prefer to talk to him she said "no no I'll fix it" still not bringing one member of our parties food. The manager offered us a discount The last member of our party's food got there after everyone else's food was boxed up and ready to go. When she went to bring us the check it was all one check after she had already snapped at us saying that she knew that it was supposed to be separate. When I went over the bill there were a lot of charges on it for things we never received and she kept refusing to let us talk to the manager so she could try and "fix it" when the manager came over I had to go over item by item of the things that we did or did not receive and at the very end still had to request that we not pay for the meal that didn't come out until everyone else was done eating pre-packaged to go that she did not get to eat with the group. Not a single person at the tables order went correctly and normally I'd be understanding as I've worked in food serve myself but with the waitresses rude behavior it made it pretty hard to give it a pass especially when she was on her phone in the corner of the restaurant the first half of our meal. We will not be going back.
