Have not been in this office for about 8 years. I was happy to just keep my existing retired ID Card, but all the online portals like DS Login wont work with the old ID Cards. The office is appointment only, but the website does not work, no one answers the phone and the voicemail box does not take messages. What is wrong here?

I waited three months for the appointment, drove 4 hours to come here only to be told that my social security card was not valid, despite it coming like that in the mail. They told me I need to re-order it. Don’t waste your time coming here, they’ll find any excuse not to work.

Probably the worst location in Florida to get an ID card. If you get an active duty person, you are in luck to get an ID card. However, if you get one of the civilians, well, they act like they are doing you a favor, they try to find any reason to turn you away, and they are extremely slow. Apparently the civilian workers have job protection as they are very bad at what they do. Recommend going to the 81st RSC in Orlando, they do ID cards same day. Here at Patrick SPB, well it can be months on a waiting list.

The new CAC cards for retiree personnel has been available for sometime..at least a year or more. Made an appointment to change cards. The female who was not customer oriented said.."Oh, we aren't doing those now..only cards which have expired or new.." There was no one else waiting. It seemed she could not be bothered. Is this the new Space Force. Command must pay attention to these issues.
