Mr Braswell and the whole family of Pipkin-Braswell made our family feel welcomed. I have known Alvin for a few years and he was the first person I thought of to help us when our son died. They were all caring and very helpful during this tragic time. He helped us plan our service for Josh with an upbeat and loving ceremony. He even let us bring Josh's dog Marley to the service. Pipkin-Braswell's concern for detail, welcoming all our family and friends, answering questions for us made Josh's day even more special. Thank you streaming the service live so our family and friends from out of town could also join in rejoicing in Josh's love for life. When Alvin gave me a hug after arranging the service and told me "we gotcha Krystal" my husband turned to me and said he knew we were in the right place. Thank you Mr Braswell and the Pipkin-Braswell family!

I am writing this review to share my most recent experience with Pipkin Braswell Mortuary. A close friend recently had a teenage child pass away. I referred the family to Pipkin Braswell as my family as used this mortuary for years. It is my belief that Mark Pipkin truly cares for his community and wants to provide excellent service in a time of grief and extreme sadness. Mark, Alvin and the entire Pipkin Braswell family did not disappoint. I watched first hand as they went out of their way to accommodate a mourning family. There were multiple obstacles and each time Mark and his team patiently worked with the family to overcome those obstacles. As we all know Pipkin Braswell is the oldest African American owned mortuary in Denver. What impressed me the most was that Mark & Alvin were willing to step out of their comfort zone which has primarily catered to the black community. They successfully provided full funeral services beginning to end for all involved in both English & Spanish. Cudos to Mark, Alvin & The Pipkin Braswell Family for truly being a Mortuary for the Community. Pipkin Braswell will continue to be my first call at that unfortunate hour.

It is rarely a good time when you have to do business with a funeral home. Well that time came when my younger cousin passed away this summer. His mom asked me to help her handle all the details. Being I’m an event planner and coordinator in my spare time I didn’t hesitate say “yes.” Despite the miles between us, I am in Florida, I proceeded with contacting the funeral home, at which time I had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. A. Braswell. I explained to him the role I would be playing and would mainly be reaching out by phone, email, & text. I was able to effortlessly coordinate all of my family’s wishes without incident. Tori and all of the office staff was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!!! THEY WERE UBER PROFESSIONAL AND READY TO HELP AT ALL TIMES. Thank you Pipkin-Braswell for making my cousin’s home going celebration top notch. I am certain he is pleased as are we. Rest Easy El’A. The show is over now; you may take your rest. 💙
