I did not wanna come to Denver and I was sure that I was not ready to be in “a home“. My daughter researched several places and was most impressed with Parkplace. I am in independent living and I would say that the best thing to do is to push yourself outside of your box and go to card games, bingo, exercise, trips, entertainment… It’s the only way to meet people and that is the answer to everything. The sooner you can meet people and make friends, the sooner it will feel like home.

Bunch of shiesters, similar to a bad experience trying to buy a used car at a shady dealership! The entire assisted living and memory care industry is in dire need of regulation across the US!

Wow, a lot of bad reviews recently, many from former employees. My father has been in independent living here for several years and he still likes it. There have been MANY challenges related to staffing and required isolation due to COVID-19. It hasn't all gone perfectly, of course. Bill, the dining room manager is super personable and is trying to get the country-club feel of the dining room experience back post-pandemic. It is a beautiful space. The price has increased quite a bit since he moved in. Perhaps the price is fair for the market but until we look elsewhere, I can't evaluate that. My dad loves the staff here. They love him. So do I. He's staying for awhile longer, I expect.
