Beware of Credit Card Surcharge I visited all American Sports Grill this week. Got a nice patio seat facing the fountain. After waiting 17 or so minutes or so for our food to arrive, we had to quickly finish so we could go across the street to watch the fountain. The bill came with the total in very large font. As we were in a hurry to zip across the street, I placed my credit card in the jacket and quickly signed the receipt so we could promptly leave. Upon arriving home, I reviewed the receipt and notice they added 5% credit card surcharge to the bill (this of course in addition to Bidenflation prices). At the bottom, in small font, there is a note for a cash discount. Here’s my complaint. Nowhere does it say in the restaurant there is a cc adder, nor is there any such note on the menu. Last, the waitress never said a word about it. I called when I got home and spoke to a manager that did not seem to really care about my compliant. She said a higher up manager needed to resolve the issue but she was in a meeting. 24 hours later and no one has called to discuss my issue. I have never faced this issue at any restaurant in all my years eating out. Fortunately I have options next time I visit Fountain Hills.

We've made three annual trips to the Phoenix Valley, and we've dined here each year. Our favorite is the blackened salmon on one of their salads. And if you like frozen drinks, their pina coladas are terrific.

I stumbled upon the All American Sports grill in 2019 while visiting Fountain Hills and has since become one of my favorite sport bars...period. I've tried their pastas, burgers, appetizers, and rueben and french dip sandwiches and have never been disappointed with my meal. If you want to sit outside, they have an amazing dog-friendly patio with terrific views of the community's namesake fountain!

As a vegetarian, I appreciate that they have a yummy veggie burger and some additional options for me to choose from. I got the mushroom burger (minus bacon) with a veggie patty which was flavorful. My boyfriend's bbq bacon burger with a beef patty was juicy and grilled to deliciousness. The French fries were standard fries, nothing fancy. The kids mac n cheese tasted like it was homemade, definitely not out of a box. My margarita had a great balance of alcohol to lime juice and simple syrup. My boyfriend tried one of the beers on tap which was cold and wasn't flat so all pluses. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant is priced for the area so compared to Tempe/Phoenix it's a bit pricier but not expensive. Would definitely recommend All American Sports Grill.
