This may be the best hardware store I’ve ever been to in my life! Absolutely loved it. It’s big and has everything, including the classic hardware store smell (ahhhhh!), but what was really impressive was how friendly and helpful every employee was. I mean, every single employee I encountered! And there was seemingly an employee in every aisle, unlike the big box stores. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. If I lived in Boulder, this would my go-to place!

McGuckins is hands down my favorite store in boulder! They have everything you would need from improvement projects to outdoor gear and dog toys. The staff is always eager to help you and as friendly as it gets. I never leave without what I came for and you can bring your dog. All around awesome.

When I go to this hardware store, well I have to behave myself. So many items there I could use, so little money to buy them all. But seriously if you need something for your home this IS the place to find it!! Prices are great and employees are always willing to help with outstanding knowledge be it products or how to repair something. Would be great if they expanded to other areas outside of Boulder city limit.

I could have spent hours in this store! Variety of items.. way more than I've ever seen in a hardware store. Employees here are amazing very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. I needed a snow shovel with a winter storm in a couple hours and McGuckin was the only store with fair prices and in stock availability! I definitely will be shopping there again!
