Great place close to Denver for great free camping and hiking. There are several trails that lead out of this campsite into the Mount Evans wilderness area so parking can be an issue at times. The road leading to the campsites and trails is easily passable be passenger car. There are a half dozen campsites in the main camping area, and a handicap accessible site with vault toilets. This is a very beautiful area the forest and the undergrowth are lush and green.

After Labor Day. And it is quite a bumpy road, so if you have a low car it will bottom out.

Rough. There are a limited group of rough restrooms on the road up to the pass but it's tents only at Campground
