Questions & Answers

Do you accept CMU Block

seattle apartment brokers | Oct 15, 2020
DTG Recycle - Redmond (Owner) | Oct 16, 2020

Yes we do! As long as the load is all CMU Block (we can't accept co-mingled or mixed loads here currently)

Do you recycle styrofoam?

Claudia Bailey | Mar 19, 2020
DTG Recycle - Redmond (Owner) | Mar 20, 2020

Hello Claudia! We do get Styrofoam and have a way to recycle it. However, we do not take it at this yard. But the best way to recycle Styrofoam in the Puget Sound is actually through a company called Styrorecycle out of Kent, WA. They take it at no cost to you, and melt it down into blocks which are used to make more Styrofoam. A Goggle search will take you right to them. Thank you for the question!

Do you guys buy pallets?

Fernando Fonseca | Mar 19, 2020
DTG Recycle - Redmond (Owner) | Mar 20, 2020

Hello Fernando! Thank you for reaching out to us. We accept pallets for recycling as part of our wood recycling program, but we do charge for taking them in. We suggest if you can find a company who will pay for them or take them for free to go that route, but if you cannot our pricing is much more affordable than the landfill, and we will make sure they get recycled instead of thrown out. Thank you!

Do u pay for copper

dale hopkins | Feb 18, 2020
DTG Recycle - Redmond (Owner) | Feb 19, 2020

Hi Dale, we do not buy metal, but there are lots of companies in the area who do. Metal for us is a byproduct of the commingled/mixed construction and demolition material we receive. We sort through it and pull out the various materials, including metal and recycle them. Thank you for reaching out!
