Some staff genuinely care for these kids and honestly alot of them dont there is no structure they arent being helped for rehabilitation i got spit had objects thrown at me so i placed a child in a theraputic hold and im the one that lost my job when people have done much worst. I still have not recieved any closure i reach out to the people "in charge" and i get ignored this place lacks professionalism they think because they do paper work they know what they're doing supervisors stay on the clock and leave for hours then when things happen they come back and bribe the kids to get them to relax and not to say anything while someone like me has to try and adapt to this routine but they make it difficult thats why nobody ever stays i feel bad for them kids wish i could bring them all home and show them the love and attention they are missing i hope all my boys i watched over get right and get outta there because this is not the place for them

I was everybody's favorite client from summer 2014 to summer 16 like Drake😤😤😤 I must put my expert opinion down... while some staff were indeed VERY crooked to say the least... for being as... umm... rambunctious as I was, the staff were very patient and dealt with alot of the problems that I caused (as well as other clients) as good as you could possibly ask! The clinicians left much to be desired, but I'm assuming there has been tremendous change to the CHOR depth chart... lol... GOD BLESS ALL YALL AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS!

Great staff...Provided the care our grandchild needed most. Highly recommend relative to services and charity that makes a difference to support 2020 to 2022

I think you’re looking for https://www.diakonseniorliving.org/communities/the-lutheran-home-at-topton They were a Lutheran children’s home.
Those were war years. Mama was a young pregnant widow who made ammunition for the war effort. My younger brother joined me as soon as his third birthday. She remarried at the end of the war and moved us to Christiana PA. In the orphanage were 98 kids while I was there. I remember my time there vividly and I am 79 this year.
