Very good teachers

Speaking about the GED program, the teachers and organizers often broadcast a very uninterested attitude towards the students in their program. Assignments were poorly explained and so was the material, assignments were often lost after being handed in and the instructor's attitude was awful. I'ed go to ask a question and recieve a very long rant about how I was making some personal attack against the class and that I should be paying attention. It wasn't that I wasn't paying attention, the fact that I asked a question shows I was interested in what was going on. I just didn't understand one part of the material. After months of dealing with the incompetent staff I decided to leave and I went to Hacc instead. The work I was given made more sense, the teachers were far more interested in how I and the rest of their students pursued their goals and helped as much as they could and I was given plenty of study material to take home. I believe the people at Hacc actually cared unlike the people I dealt with at the Employment Skills Center. Obviously, it took time before I was ready to take my GED tests, but I passed all of the tests. I strongly recommend to anyone trying to get their GED that they completely sidestep this place and go to Hacc instead even if the traveling is a little inconvenient. Your education will thank you.
