So often, we New Yorkers easily take for granted the luxury of dining out. Especially in the age of Covid, it saddens me to think of thoughs who couldn't make it through these difficult times. It always helps to know that local businesses do make a difference with the passage of time. ELLIE'S DINER happens to be one of those businesses. In business for over 4 decades, this Parkchester institution always gies put of its way to treat locals and tourists with equal care. From their friendly waiting staff, to the quick cooking crew, Ellie's offers great dine-in and take-out options at reasonable prices. I like to order out with my choice of a Bacon, Egg, & Cheese on a roll. Small coffee with milk and 5 sugars. Then proceed to the Oval across the street, plop down on a bench facing the Fantasia Fountain, and take in the view. Enjoy!
