I highly recommend going to the Long Island Game Farm. I have taken my niece and nephew there many times before and decided to do a Private- Behind the scenes tour this time. Melinda who leads the park was our tour guide. We had an amazing time! Melinda told us how each animal came to the farm, how to care for and interact with them. We got to hand feed and pet so many of the beautiful animals there. When the kids were asked which was their favorite animal they said all of them! The animals receive such great care and so much love.

It is relatively small zoo with mostly farm animals, but also few more exotic ones. Animals looked well-cared for and they are close to you. Price is a bit on high side for a small zoo, still very positive experience.

Hi Cathy, we do not rent electric scooters due to the uneven ground at our park. However, we have a wheelchair rental as the park is handicap accessible. The main stage theatre also has a section on the top left where visitors in wheelchairs can view the show. There are only two areas that are not handicap accessible at the park, which is Bambiland and the Nursery, due to the fact that visitors actually go into the animal’s enclosure and the animals could jump on the wheelchair. For safety reasons, this is not allowed at ANY zoo. But we do have an area where wheelchair users can bottle feed goats through the fence. We hope to see you and your family at the park this summer!
