So I was doing a favor for a friend to drop off a phone she had already traded up for. Honestly, I've never been to a place that was so unable to help. It was very puzzling to me as I come from a customer service background. I wonder if that is what to expect nowadays. The problem was not solved. At all. And they were just fine with that. I wasn't. I won't be using AT&T for my cellular needs, ever. There is something very wrong with the system and the way this is handled. In most of the big cellular phone companies actually. It needs a huge revamp in my opinion.

I asked for a prepaid plan and they kept trying to sell me their month-to-month, insisting that $75 per month + phone cost was the cheapest option. It turns out that prepaid is only available online, but they didn't even understand what I meant by "prepaid".
