I am truly upset of the service I got on my birthday. I made a reservation for a party of 13 and some of the party was there on time. I ran a bit late and I try to contact the restaurant and the phone number sent me to a receptionist who stated she was unable to contact the restaurant. I got there and they removed my seating without contacting me and mad me wait for about 40 mins to be seated on my birthday. My party was finally able to be seated and they stated serving me pre fix menus that I never requested and gave me attitude because I did not want it. my food was very salty and not the best service I have ever received from a black own business. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to any family of friends for the treatment I received on my special day.

I haven't been to Ricardo's in a long long time and it was great to see that they are still doing the damn thing! My husband and I went out for our usual Monday night date night and we had a great experience. We made a ressy for 8:30 and were sat by 8:40p. It was a full house with dj playing all the classics of the 80-90s. It can get a little loud if you're not used to the volume and high energy. We ordered the app platter that had several apps. My fave was surprisingly the beef empanada. The meat was perfectly seasoned Puerto Rican style. You could taste the sofrito. My last face was the soggy mixed green salad and crab cake (was too mushy and not lumped as described in menu. But no biggie because the entrees were delicious and cooked exactly to the temp we ordered. The filet mignon was delicious with mashed potatoes and garlic spinach. My husband had the t-bone with asparagus. He enjoyed it as well. Drinks were good and service was impeccable. They were very attentive. I'll be back sooner next time. Thanks Ricardo's

All medium rare steaks were tough. Lobster overcooked. Drinks were good. Flies all over locale.

I think its average. There are plates on the menu that you can get alot of food for the price & the food is good, if you drink your gonna get buzzed so I think it's worth it but better if you make reservations.
Music is great!! Something that everyone can enjoy
Hello! They have 4 set menus to choose from! The prices range $50-$80 per guest! (Excluding taxes and utilities)!
Yes they must all participate
Yes u can eat outside
It's preferred, the wait time is usually an 1hr. oh one more thing, you can't rvsp on the same day
Not that i notice i found park on 1 of the side blocks
Usually happy hour varies with each establishment. But if that's what you're going there for I'm sure you will not be disappointed. Food and drinks are excellent.
The food was delicious, service a little slow. Nice music good prices.
Yes great place for birthday dinner, and yes must be vaccinated
They did not ask. But New York City rules mandate inside dining you must be vaccinated outside dining you don't
I found parking in front of the establishment, but it is Harlem. Go early and take some time to look for it. You will find parking eventually
Yes they do take reservations, I feel like the best time to get through is if you call around the time they first open.
Temperature is taken, social distanced dining as well.
Nope. They have dining in the front and the back but it isn't completely enclosed so it gets chilly. It is heated but on windy days your gonna be cold.
Nope sorry
Not that I know of, since rules have changed due to COVID
Spoke to security at Ricardo and no, they don't randomly close
Yes you can they might take 20 but yall might not be able to sit together might have to break up into other tables
Prices range depending on what you like. Their menu is online. Make a reservation if not the wait could be quite awhile.
Parking is usually pretty easy to find around there
I happen to go around the afternoon. Place was great and like everyone else said its not quiet if you want intamacy. The chicken and waffles was excellent!! Service was too...i definitely would recommend
I went for my aunt bday and she had prefix menu for 50 and I paid 74 tax n tip
Yes you can bring a cake . Just let them know during ur reservation. I believe there is a $20 fee for cutting the cake in the venue .
It's quite tight and small inside. But I'm sure if there's a will there's a way
