I was an established patient with this office but I hadn't been seen in 3 years. Now, I need a referral from my PCP to get an appointment, even though my insurance doesn't require referrals. Okay, no problem. My PCP sends a referral but this office still hasn't processed it, and I was told even if they approve the referral they're booking out 4 months!! Ridiculous!!

If my insurance does not require referrals. Then why are they insisting on a referral. Stupid policy

Had an appointment 1 week ago. I liked the DR, and his treatment options and plan. The assistant with the DR supposedly sent in scripts for 2 creams needed. These scripts never went to the pharmacy(which I verified while in the office). I have called 5 days, multiple times during the day, been on hold upward of 35-45 minutes with then being disconnected. Spoke with the answering service, which really tried to help, relayed messages, no response from this office. The answering service also took all the information for the pharmacy, and the creams needed, totally professional & helpful. Middlebury has the absolutely the worst customer service of any office I have tried to deal with in my 45 years as a nurse, never mind a patient!! My plan was to drive there(30 minutes) to try and get these scripts dealt with, but called the Branford office(which answered !!!), and they got my scripts called in. I have more things pending with the Middlebury office but am pretty sure I will be dismissed.

You do need an appointment, but we often get cancellations so try calling in the morning. Often we can get you in! We do offer telemedicine as well.
Yes we do, although Husky requires a referral from the primary care physician.
