There are not many temples in CT, which makes this so much more special. My father helped build this temple & it is solely maintained on gifts/charity from the community (which is all over CT & beyond). With my father's passing, Constantine, who does much of the setting up/communicating for functions, assisted me in every aspect. I'm not as familiar with the Laos funeral process as I liked to be. The monks were so accommodating when it came to the "burning" of the body, going to the crematory & then allowing me to have an after ceremony at the temple. I don't think they've ever had that many "Americans" in their sanctuary at one time before. Everyone was in aww of the beauty & so respectful. I couldn't have asked for anything else, I know my dad would have been so happy.

Wonderful grounds and peaceful setting. Thank you to the monks and staff who allow the public to view and walk the outside areas.

Is this temple open to public and what are the hours
Yes, just do not let it step on our statues and clean up after dog.
No pandemic hours, just wear mask and enter like normal.
It is usually from 11 to 2 am. Prayer is usually on Sundays but can be random days sometimes.
