I don't mind dated, but rundown is something else. Rain coming off the roof drained onto the stairway. The room had chipped and missing tile in the bathroom. Beds at best were like marshmallows every morning we were achy. There are better options for comparable money in Cortez.

Given the choice I would not stay here again. The room had a soft spot in the floor and you could see daylight around the door. As I pulled around the back of the building there were two police officers there. Very noisy neighbors. This is the last chance type of hotel.

Clean rooms, front desk guy was very welcoming, pool area had a mini pool that was perfect for our little ones. Beds were decently comfy. Would stay here again!

Asked to see a double-occupancy room and was given a key. Beds were very comfortable, but the room was an inside corner surrounded on three sides by other occupants and the sound was passing right through the paper-thin walls. Went back to the office to ask about an alternative room not in an inside corner. Asked if all the beds were the same and the girl at the desk said "yes". Was given a "family" room with only one adjoining room. Well, the beds are NOT the same. Those in the family room are very hard. Also, the room had chip crumbs and wrappers everywhere. It didn't look like it had been vacuumed in weeks. (The previous room, on the other hand, looked clean.) Lastly, take note- pets are allowed in every room. We're both highly allergic and after 15 minutes our eyes started to itch and water. We won't be going back.
