This may seem trivial but in a customer service business I expect more! I entered this UPS store today and did not see signs posted on the door that says they do not accept packages if the label is not affixed to same. As I was looking for the electronic label on my phone, I was advised by an older gentleman behind the counter, “If the label is not on the box we will not accept it.” Before I was able to say anything, another younger male employee basically yelled at me and said “There are three signs on the door- didn’t you see them.” Now I’m a big boy, with thick skin, but his tone was so very rude, loud and condescending. In hindsight, I should have asked for the owner or manger, but I was so upset. While leaving, I asked them if this is how you speak to your customers and I said I will NEVER return. Neither of the employees had a response nor tried to rectify the situation. Mind you, there was only one other customer in the store. As we all know, Customer service is so - so critical and this store owner needs to TRAIN its staff.. I await the owners response and I hope he doesn’t deflect as he has on other SIMILAR customer complaints.
