Very nice place. Outside they have TONS of rock, crystals, and fossils in the raw. Inside they have jewelry, carvings, polished gems, and so much more. With prices ranging from $1 to $5,000, there is pretty much something for every price range. They also sell permits where you can dig at their mine, and what you find, you keep. Mining is very reasonably priced!!

This was such a fun experience! Definitely worth the price and we would do it again. We left with almost a whole 5 gallon bucket of quartz. Lots of great items in the gift shop too. It was cold and windy when we went so I bet it's even better on a nicer day.

It was awesome! 💗😊💗 The staff is very nice, even had a staffer give me a couple small points that she found in the field. People that are in the field digging are super nice except whoever decided my hand tool I just bought was theirs, that person wasn't so cool. 😔 Be prepared only 1 bathroom and have FUN!

This place was fantastic with so many crystals you could feel the energy just vibrating in the air. They had the biggest quartz crystal i have ever seen! It was huge! I would luv to have one but I wouldn't know where I could possibly put it! Loved it! So I had to get a couple smaller ones, that would fit in the car.

Yes, as long as you are an adult you can dig by yourself, if you under 16 years old you will need an adults with you. Our price is $10.00 per day, with age 9 and under Free. Yes, most of the time this isn't a problem just be sure to get something durable and not to fill it up to far because the terrain is rough and slopped and I'd for it to pull you or fly free into someone else.
No but there are plenty of quartz crystals
Depends on what you find, from a grain the size of sand all the way to a cluster the size of a boulder. Anything you can carry out is yours from the tailings area. I took a 300lb boulder with softball size crystals on it.
Carrie, i was just out there a couple weeks ago. It was amazing. The second i stepped foot out of our van, I was picking up crystals. We came back to Alaska with 30-40 lbs of gorgeous clear crystals. Bring a bucket and a gardening trowel.

We were right on the highway 7, when you turned off to go to Ron Coleman Mining. We were to large red roof building. Our mine is 10 miles from there, you can get your permits at the retail shop or at the mine. The mine name is Miller Mountain Mine, we have signs about 8.5 miles from highway 7, on highway 298. We are open 7 days a week, we mine daily, except when the weather does not allow. But we always keep so many piles brought up, that there are plenty of crystals to be found. Right now we have over a hundred piles on top. Check us out!!
We are the owners, Yes you can dig for crystals. But you cannot go down into the pit, this is Federal Law for safety, Our own employees have to go to classes ever year for safety, no matter long they have been with us. Even Years So what we do is bring up to the top many many piles for you to dig threw, there are hundreds of pile on top. They are NOT Tailings, we have not gone threw the piles. we many happy customers. You need to understand that in Arkansas all mines are open pit mines, not caves. and no mine owners are allowed by law to let the public down into the pits. Adults are 20$ 55+ are 15$ Age 7 to 17 are 5$ Come after 2 and adults and seniors are half price. Price only includes mining permit. You can dig from 8am to 4:30pm in the winter hours And you can dig 8am to 5:30pm during summer hours
