Great guys (Chris & Taylor) in the shop when I came into pick up the glass pane replacements for my house.

This company is way over priced. I received two other quotes for my basement window. I paid Glass Doctor as it was raining heavily in our area and I wanted it done quickly. Once I received the other companies quote that was almost half I called immediately to see if I could get a refund or if they would match the price. I called quickly because I wanted to make sure that the glass wasn't ordered. I knew that the glass being ordered would mean they had money invested and they wouldn't likely make any changes. When I called the glass had not been ordered yet and the Jon had not been scheduled. Now we are a week away and they haven't done anything except say they would give me back half of my money and the glass they ordered after I told them not to. I continue to be told that a manager will contact me, but nobody has reached out yer.

Unfortunately, tempered safety glass, by design, cannot be cut. It is designed to break into small pieces when cut or broken to reduce the risk of significant injuries to the person breaking it. Using safety glass, of which “tempered” is one type, is mandated by state building codes in specific applications like doors, sidelights, showers, etc. Please call Glass Doctor if you want more information on this topic.
Yes! We do replace rollers if needed. Of course, we try to clean the tracks and rollers and adjust first. If that does not work, we will discuss replacing the rollers for you.
Scratch removal in residential glass and light commercial applications is not a commercially viable solution. Basically, it is labor-intensive and not very successful. Furthermore, if the customer is not satisfied with the result, they are understandably not willing to pay for the time and materials invested by the glass company. Scratch removal and scratch buffing systems exist; however, they are typically only practical in warehouses, industrial, and on larger commercial glass projects. We specialize in glass replacement. We can, in most cases, remove the glass from the frame and install new glass. Your existing window sash will remain.
Most likely. However, if the mirror is glued to the wall, there is no guarantee that it can be taken down without breaking. If you can get the existing mirror off the wall, we will need the mirror brought to our shop to cut down. There is no guarantee that the mirror will cut without breaking either. We cannot be responsible if a piece of glass or mirror that belongs to a customer breaks when trying to cut it, but we always do our best to cut carefully.
