Came in with SEVERE chest pain AND SEVERE COUGHING! Waited almost 2 hours wasn’t even asked if I needed water or anybody to check on me! When I called from the dirty room they stuck me in I could hear laughter and passing the phone around when I asked for the charge nurse who I believe wasn’t even the charge nurse! I basically was told I was denied treatment and will sit there until the dr decided to come see me because I DONT HAVE INSURANCE! Yea and I was there since 12:35-2:00 with nothing!

Not sure how I feel about my experience with Dallas Medical Center. I was brought in by Farmers Branch Fire Department. Received an IV and EKG in route. When DMC received me continued IV & EKG, drew blood for blood work everything came back normal within 45 minutes I was out the door. I was still kind of loopy when somebody walked in and said you're not having a heart attack you're not having a stroke in your blood work looks normal. You're free to go. Compared to past experiences with emergency rooms "years ago" this was faster, but a completely different experience. Everything happened so fast I'm not sure what to make of it all. FBFD / EMTs we're wonderful. One of the nurses from DMC was great. Sorry I did not catch her name, doctor not so much.

My review is actually going to solely focus on the security officer who helped me, Walton. I am 37 weeks pregnant and found myself in a very stressful situation that easily could’ve thrown me into labor! Walton was simply incredible. He stayed with me to make sure I remained calm throughout and reassured me whenever I began getting worked up again. His calm demeanor, his time and assistance, and his commitment to helping people is all just truly a gift. Thank you, Walton. You are my hero!

This place is TRASH!! I thought maybe after several years of not coming here things would have gotten better but they are worse. From registration to Dr!!! If you’re in pain or a serious emergency this is NOT the place to be!!!

Parking in all surface lots is free; parking in the garage is $2.00, regardless of duration. We do have a cafeteria inside the hospital which serves breakfast (6:45 - 9:30) and lunch (11:00 - 2:00) Monday through Friday.
It is an entirely non-smoking campus. Parking lots included.

I dont think so. However when i searched for kidney transplants, I got Methodist Dallas Medical Center at 1441 N. Beckley Avenue Dallas, Texas 75203 if it is helpful, i can recommend Dallas Nephrology Associates. They coorodinate all aspects of a kidney transplant from A to Z. The surgery is done at Baylor.
Yes. It is in a safe area. There is parking up near the entrance every time i go and the other parking lot is clearly visible but a little further from the entrance. There qre people coming and going most all the time. Suggestion: make sure you know which building they are in. There are 4 if i recall correctly.
