I highly recommend Dr. Anthony Fam. Had a very good experience over all with the clinic. Went here when I could not properly get diagnosed after see two doctors near my home.
I saw Dr. Fam four times over the course of two weeks. He took the time during each appointment to fully examine my eye, explain what exactly was going on, and next steps. He was very kind and personable. Would definitely request to be seen by him in the future if needed.

They don’t care about the patients or have any urgency about the health issues you’re trying to solve. they rescheduled my appointment twice that delayed me seeing a doctor for 2 months. I had to cancel my appointment and seek care elsewhere. When you try to call a specific doctor they never send you directly to the office phone, always someone rude at the switchboard who has no idea who your doctor is. Terrible communication and customer service all around

Went early in the morning and was seen promptly after admitted. Process was smooth and doctors were very thorough when diagnosing my issues. Visit took a few hours but that was to be expected given the number of other patients. Highly recommend.

Why is there such a long waiting time? What are you doing? What is the purpose of the appointment? We don't need to eat, just wait? terrible experience
Unfortunately there is no E.R. There is some type of urgent care that's first come first serve. But to be seen you have to either have an appointment or one can be made for you. There are many doctors on staff seeing that it is a hospital.
I need an eye examination because I am in need of glasses. I have gone to regular optometrists and they all give me different readings. I don't trust them. Is it possible to get an eye examination here, and a prescription for glasses? Thank you.
I have several styes in my eyes. I now have two in my left eye and one in the right eye. I've been trying to schedule an appointment but the phone keeps dropping once i select option one for an appointment
Do they still have the urgent care at night? You use to be able to go with eye emergencys over night .

They take walk-ins, in the order of urgency. You might have to wait a while. There are no admissions after 6pm daily. They did exquisite surgeries my right eye thrice.

Yes, and ok if you need urgent care. Just make sure you understand the billing especially if you don't have insurance. You will be double billed. Once for the clinic and again for the Dr.

With any walk-in clinic, if you show up without an appointment, unless it's an emergency, it's first come, first served. All the staff are courteous, professional and empathetic. During times of high volume, the wait time can be long but the clinic is always fully staffed so they do try to get to each patient as quickly as possible while providing the high-standard of care people come to expect from the Infirmary.
Hospital parking, no but you can either find street parking or get discounted all-day parking by getting your parking voucher validated at the front desk.
I’ve had pain in my left ear since 12/2017. No1 can give me answer 2 wat causin it. Bin2 ER 5x Bin2 c ENT doc. Seen pcp. Seen dentist. Have aptpt in June wit oral surgeon have appt in Aug. wit neurology. But I can’t wait. Dis pain is killin me.

You can attend the NYEEI without medical appointment, you only have to carry an ID to identify yourself, the medical insurance card that you have and the referral of your doctor. In case you do not have it you can also go, but the cost of the service will change. This record sometimes takes up to 45 minutes. Once done, it will indicate to you which part of the building you should go to the clinic and its sections A, B, or C, or the front of the building.
