Rockaway ferry is always late, sometimes more than an hour. Fare fee has increased from 2.75 to 4.00 a ride just for a horrible experience. Very unsatisfied with this ferry service

We take the ferry from Wall Street Pier 11 to Rockaway nearly every weekend during the summer and love it. Sometimes it’s more packed than not, but we tend to be early birds and will usually head out before 8am. Affordable at the price of a subway trip and a scenic way to get around!

The ferry is pretty cool and have a good price of $2.75 for one way pass. I think it is better if you use the NYC ferry app to get your tickets, it is easier and faster. Yes. Until you activate a ticket on the app, they are good for a year. The physical tickets should have a similar expiration.
Yes! Just remember that it's hectic returning back from Rockaway beach at certain hours due to all the beach goes so plan accordingly.

No. Seperate system. You have to get the NYC Ferry app or buy a ticket on location. The cost is the same, $2.75, as a the cost of a subway ride though and you can also transfer between ferries for free.
I really don't know just was on Vacation out there .But it's really nice to ride from Manhattan over to the Rockaway beach side OMG HAD A Good Time WOOO
You could take the New York City waterway ferry for $2.75 per ticket or NYC Transit with your metro card ... If you drive there is going to be traffic hard to find parking local tolls and fees which I like to avoid at all cost 😉😉😊

FiDi, Sunset Park, Rockaway Park. The boats run every Hour or 1/2 hour depending on the season.
