We come here every year. The lake is always warm, clear, and beautiful. The kids love the sandy, shaded beach. The middle bathrooms could use an update; showers are cold. Great camp store with pizza, ice cream, and delicious homemade donuts. Over the lake is an unparalleled spot to view the spectacular sunsets. It's a family tradition!

My visit was a short one but from what observed while cycling through, the park is clean with several nice picnic areas. The bike repair station along the North Eastern State Trail is well supplied with tools and pump.

This was a great little park! The views of the lake area fabulous. I like that there was firewood available on site. Rail to trail bike path us accessible right from the park. Bathrooms are clean. Probably some of the FRIENDLIEST campers I have ever met were at the park. It got very cold the night we stayed, so it was nice to have a less crowded vibe. Would stay here again!

Been coming to aloha state park for 30 years! These are great camp grounds that stay dry most of the time. Mullet lake is one of the best inland lakes around, and is deep, sandy and clear! It looks like the tropics sometimes! What a great place to visit and bring your family for years to come.

You'll have to call or go online to see if they have open spots.
Coffee is available at the store just outside gate
Normally it's a 10 dollar charge
Just electric.
I believe it is 9 or 10, but if you have a reservation, just go to your sight and sign in the next morning. That is what we always do at any camp ground, but we never go without reservations.
If it's a hot day or guessing it would be, the kids will love the shoreline to Wade in the water or even take a dip. I just love the aloha State Park. I'm there every labor day weekend with my fiance and His family, for its like a tradition to walk the bridge. Love it. Normally we're close to the shoreline. Just a few campsites away from the water.
I believe you can launch your boat there without camping
The playgrounds are sparse. As far as playgrounds go. Open space a swing
CHEBOYGAN. Good size town 10 to 15 miles
