PFY is a safe space for lgbtq+ youth and their straight, cis allies Ive been going for about 5 months now, and i have to say, seeing my friends every week at this amazing place is life changing. Everyone is so kind and accepting, its unreal If youre part of the community and you live nearby, i couldnt recommend going here more. -Amanda DCG

Going here is a really good decision for anyone who needs company, allies and friends who are going through the same experiences as you. However, everyone here is wonderful, unique, and will make sure you are comfortable in the space. Pride for Youth deserves every praise it has recieved, and heaping helpings more.

You can go to their Friday night Coffeehouse, which is a hangout for lgbt+ people and their allies from the ages of 13-20 from 4:30 to 11:30. On Tuesdays, there is Trans Action, for trans, and nonbinary people ages 15-30. It's a place where you can learn about resources and other things for trans and nonbinary wellbeing. Once you are 15, you can also attend that program too. Hope this helps.

Do u need money to get in and participate? Or is there free activities there?

Most activities at PFY are free; Coffeehouse should be no different. There are also free counseling and HIV testing services, if you require them.
