Save yourself and your family members. Don't go here!!! Nickname for CareOne is CareNone!!! I had many sleepless night worrying about my husband and his care at this place. Also had to make many calls regarding my concerns. I moved him to another facility after 2 months.

Addendum: I will say that at least CareOne relented, and refunded our security deposit in accordance with State statute. That's more than I can say for the Emerson Health Care Center, which has unlawfully retained over $10,000 of our money for nearly ten years! Be CAREFUL, folks! Security deposits are governed by State law! I'm surprised that this "chain" of grossly substandard SCARE facilities is still open. RUN, don't walk from this group! This place in Westwood was AWFUL.

It was ok and thankfully a very temporary stay. Today was the day to go to moms permanent assisted care and pickup was at 9am. She was supposed to be dressed, fed, packed and ready to go at 9. I got there and nothing was done or ready. Thankfully I was a few minutes early and it worked out to our next appointment. The new facility looks very promising…. I’ll review it after her checkin….

CAUTION: We are an actual family of a former patient at that facility, I'm not a phony review paid for by that nursing home! Please read my previous answer, in order to avoid all care ones in general as well as the Emerson Health and Rehabilitation Center!
Our mother passed away in a New Jersey nursing home at the end of September. As a private pay family, I can tell you that the room and board rate alone, averages $15,000 a month, or more! The County-run nursing home in Rockleigh is much less, but right now, based upon factual information in my possession, they have a corrupt Medical Director, Administrator and Nursing Director, so I would not recommend anyone go there, until these individuals are replaced!
24/7 for family/friends/ outside companions or independently engaged nursing support. The doors lock at 9pm, but there is a bell to ring for admittance.
