I am hiking and climbing a lot. So this trail is good for everyone, who is on the way. But if you go inside you need to be sure for some stuff, as lights, helmet, knee protection, good shoes. And don't do that alone. Take a company and enjoy your day. Tennessee, I love your nature!

It's so gorgeous here. I don't live in the area but it was such a fun hike. We just wished we had brought a good flashlight for the cave at the end!

Very misleading sign at beginning. Says 2 miles in and 2 out. It's 3.7 miles each way. It's worth going, but it's not easy. Lots of rocks and dangers of falling and getting hurt. It's very easy to slip and fall. Dangerous drop offs and bluffs. There is no cell service in this area. Gorgeous area once you make it down the sharp incline to Lost Cove Cave.

The trail was a little tough for us non-hikers (haha) however, it was really awesome and totally worth it to get to the Buggytop Cave. The Cave was absolutely breathtaking. I can't wait to go back a bit more prepared!!

No fee and open as long as u want to be out.
truth what Bradley Ramsey said but yes if you go left in the cave you are pretty much guaranteed to get in that cave way.
If I remember right it's about 4 miles
Access to the caves were restricted when we were there due to a bat infection. But yes, I think the main one that we saw did appear to go deep. The creek that flowed from fhe cave was up with much water rushing out down the creek bed.
