Simple station. Local station so train runs on a schedule. I saw an elderly lady looking for an elevator so she wouldn't have to take the stairs but she didn't know where it was and struggled up the stairs. Bless her heart...if I could have carried her up I would have. ...the steps is only downfall I'd probably say. You can purchase lirr tix from machine...and you can get mta metros as well simultaneously in same transaction. It would be better to be able to get mta metros alone but I guess the city n LI have their own reasons.

The station is pretty clean, and has a waiting room. It’s in a good location, and you can get trains to Penn station and Atlantic terminal here.
