Mta has made it very simple and easy to get to a Yankee game (Hudson line) from orange, dutchess and surrounding areas. Not sure about other mta lines but Hudson line they have express trains maybe about 4 stops then runs straight to 153rd. You exit and walk to stadium mostly under a mezzanine with one street to cross that police are at. Very convenient.

Not directly. From New Haven you can either 1. Get off at the Melrose station and walk the 10-15 minutes to the stadium. 2. Continue on to 125th and transfer to a Subway or Metro north train going back up to the Stadium. Honestly the walk from the Yankee stadium Metro North Station isn't really any shorter and transferring to the subway to save a few blocks of walking doesn't seem worth it so I'd just go with 1.
Train Station, Police Station, can you be more specific
About 45 minutes by subway.
No. MetroNorth does run special services during Yankee games.
Yes just change at Tarry town or Croton Harmon

Not really. You can get to New Haven and once there connect to the shore line to get to New London but that ride takes over 3 hours all together and still leaves you about 20 minutes away by car from Foxwoods. Much easier to take a tour/charter bus.
The closest stop would be on the local hudson line. Stop at "University Heights"
That's what Metro North uses to refer to 10 Trip Ticket bundles. Its between weekly and monthly passes, that's why they call it intermediate.
