Busy during sunset, but almost always empty during sunrise. Great, inexpensive heated pool. Clean facilities. Functional Boat Ramps

😍 Nice and quite place to relax!!! It's really family-friendly and pet friendly. Just NOT ON THE BEACH ARE YOUR BELOVED PETS ALLOWED. However they are every where else. Now if they are a service animal then they are welcome. But we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves. Now that we live here in Florida. We can vist this anytime!!!🏖🦀🏝🦐

What a nice location to spend the day. Never to busy but plenty to do. Fishing pier, boat launch, clean restrooms and a nice beach area.

Pool is good, I wouldn't recommend swimming in the bay there. Best to go to Englewood Beach or manasota key
Yes
Adults 1.65 daily child under 16 1.25 or 75.00 for one person for a year.
I've seen dog's there many times
I was there last week and didn't smell or see any dead fish.
Im planning a get together of maybe 30 people.. im still in Illinois but want to plan gathering for Aug 6th using the pavillion around 4:00 p.m. is there someone I need to call to reserve or is the pavillion big enough you dont need to reserve?
Yes just can't bring the dog on the beach itself.
The park is open dusk to dawn, 7 days a week, but the pool and rec center have different hours.
No
Well, is not a beach beach, it is a bay, some people from north or Europe and they enjoy it.
No! Water is dark and dirty
I don't see why not if there are no signs saying that you can't.
🤣. It's Florida
It might be for safety: having kids racing to get back to and from the family car while boaters are backing up, or otherwise engaged, has the potential to ruin an otherwise fun outing.
Well the boat ramp remains usable. I have no idea how legal it is to leave your car and trailer though.
Yes pool close at 5
Don't know where there is one for 24 hours but that part closes you're not supposed to be really hanging out unless I believe you're on the pier not exactly sure how that all works
Not that good. But you will find some. If you want some good shells for free try Nokomis beach or Venice beach. But if you want some amazing shells take "Treasure Seekers Shell Tours". Absolutely amazing!
I believe not
Free parking, free fishing (fishing license is reuired which is also free) and red tide as not been present here
Yes
Not really just clean up after your dog and keep it leashed if not fully trained and obedient
Hey! Yes, thats about the only one, and its off of Bayshore Road and Glass Street next to the YMCA daycare.
Where the fresh river water meets and mixes with the salt water from the gulf, is called "brackish" water. It is also an estuary, which is like a nursery for many types of sea life. Estuaries are fragile environments and it is in humanity's best interest to protect them!
