Very nice paved biking trail. Bathroom facilities at several locations during the 8 mile ride.

Whether you're looking for a fast or casual group ride or no group ride at all, Cape Haze Trailhead has it all. They ride weekdays at 830 am and Sundays at the same time. For the avid roadie, the trail is an access point to various areas off trail for faster riding.

Great bike path. Easy ride 14 miles round trip. Lots of shade and plenty of Gopher Tortoise on the path.

Very nice ride. Rode from the park near McCall & Gasparilla to the Causeway and over Causeway. There were other parks/parking areas along the trail so you can adjust your mileage. Rode over an inland bridge and people were fishing in mangoves. Had to pay a cash toll to go over bridge on bike but totally worth it. Water at Causeway is gorgeous and there were iguanas on rocks. We ate at the Fishery near Coral Creek Fishing Pier and enjoyed it - rode bikes right up to it.

Yes it is paved and about 7.5 miles . Bathroom at both ends.
I wish they didn't, not a fan of dodging piles of poop on the path.
The Trail itself is only 7 miles in one direction, though I went over the toll bridge to Gaspirilla. I suggest you put it into a google search..."Bike rental near Cape Haze trail". I did not see any rentals directly near trail.
The only animals are tortoises and they burrow on the side of the trail
It is a paved bikeway. All no motorized vehicles are approved
